    Hearing the game/console in my headphones


    I have the turtle beach stealth 500 wireless for Xbox and I can't hear anything from my headphones, its just a mic but I want to hear the game too and talk. Is there a way to fix this?

    Hi Isabella,

    Thank you for posting in Microsoft Xbox Community. I'm sorry to hear that you are having issues with the output of your headset. Based on your description, your headset chat slider is not configured properly.

    To do this, press the Xbox button on the controller to open the menu. Select the Audio icon to modify the settings. On the next page, you can find three options: Headset volume, Headset chat mixer, and Mic monitoring. Make sure to set the Headset chat mixer to 40-60%.

    If you want to hear yourself, press the Xbox button on the controller to open the menu. Select the Audio icon to modify the settings. On the next page, you can find three options: Headset volume, Headset chat mixer, and Mic monitoring. Make sure to set the Mic monitoring to 20-60% according to your preference.

    Turtle Beach Audio Controller not working with Series X Controller

    I have a similar problem but when I try to use my blue yeti mic the headphone splitter and turtle beach headphone adapter which has always worked for me, all of a sudden I couldn’t hear any game audio. I was able to the hear party chat but it was very loud and I could hear through my left ear it wasn’t my headphones, or controller does anyone know how to fix this?

    Audio on both Headset and TV Speakers

    To use my headphones I have to mute the tv in order to just hear volume from headphones.

    It depends on the game, I am using dolby atmos for my headphones. So if I want to hear the direction someone is sneaking up on me I will use headphones. For combat games it is the stereo cranked up

    The beep sound is from the console itself or you can hear that on your TV speaker or headphones? just to understand exactly the issue, because is the first time in my life I'm hearing something like that!
