Headset's directional audio is reversed. NEED HELP

Most noticeably playing call of duty modern warfare the directional audio from my headset is reversed, which forces me to wear the headset backwards. When its on backwards it sounds correct. I have tried 3 different headsets all with the same issue. Since
most headsets do not have reversible mics, the mic ends up behind my head. So far I have tried buying a new controller, updating all the firmware on said controller. I've played with all the audio settings I could find on both xbox one and on the call of duty
settings. The headsets that I have tried were the hyperX cloud, Astro A40, and the Steel series arctis pro.

Any suggestions or solutions would be appreciated.

Are those headset all wireless or wired?

If it's wired I think it could be a Continuity problem within the wiring. Try swapping are the cable or different port

That is a strange one and I have never seen options to invert headset audio before.

I would try a ‘soft’ reset of your console to factory defaults. Make sure you choose the Reset and keep my
games & apps option. Do ensure any local data is saved/backed up to the cloud as this will likely be delete off the Xbox.

I’m using the HyperX headset and the sounds are flipped. I reset the xbox with no change. I have tried multiple controllers with no luck, but because I have the elite controller I can plug in without the adapter. My sound quality goes down tremendously,
and the volume is almost non-existent, so its really not worth it, but the sounds are working correctly. This means its either an issue with the physical adapter of the firmware of the adapter. Has anyone else had that as an issue?

You may need to update the astro's via a pc. They have software and firmware updates from time to time that resolve issue.

It fixed some of my issues. But I don't know anything about the hyper x headsets.

I feel like if the sound is inverted it may be because of audio settings via the xbox or the tv/monitor it may be plugged into.
