    Headset Troubleshooting help needed


    Every few minuets my headset audio will cut out completely for a bit then come back.

    I have tried two different Turtle Beach headsets (one battery powered, one cable powered), two different audio cables (one lets me use my better XB360 headset), two different XB1 controllers, with and without the Turtle Beach headset controller and with
    a YOK chatpad/headset controller as well, nothing changes the fact that my audio cuts in and out.

    In between the cutouts I can hear and talk in party and game fine the only problem is the short cutout but in games with audio ques for QTE's a few seconds can get you dead not to mention that it is just annoying.

    Can anyone give me tips to troubleshoot this?

    P.S. Been to the XB1 chat headset support page, had done it all before reading about it and did not help.

    Try performing a hard reset EXACTLY like this. Hold the power button on the console for 8 seconds or until the power shuts down completely.
    Unplug the power cord from the back of the console for 5 minutes.
    Plug the power cord back in and restart the console.

    Even if you aren't an Xbox Insider, you can download the Xbox Insider Hub app and file a report when it happens. That data will help the development team find a solution.

    If you did all troubleshooting from Xbox , and if the issue is still happening, you have to contact Turtlebeach support.

    I tried this tho instead of five minutes I left it unplugged for the night, did not help with the headset cutout.

    Have you tried turning the volume up on the headset itself while its plugged into the Xbox One. It should default to a volume level you can hear, but it's worth a shot in my opinion.
