Headset not reproducing sound on Xbox Series Controller

Since the last update on my xbox series controller (firmware 5.13.3143.0), my wired headset is not reproducing any sound on the Xbox Series S.

- The headset is recognized by the controller and videogame;

- Headset is fine, it works on my other controller and on my PC;

- The controller is also fine. I connected it to my PC, connected my wired headset on it and the sound does work;

- My second controller is also fine, with the same firmware, the same headset and its sound works.

- I already tried to reset my audio configs on the Xbox Series S.

I don't know what else to do.

Thank you for your answer, but unfortunately those steps did not help.

Following the steps to revert via console there's no option to revert firmware. It just shows a message "Something went wrong, your controller is already updated".

Following the steps to revert via Windows, the link that the article suggests to click to revert (xboxaccessories:\\firmwareupdate?legacyDowngrade=true) does nothing but open the Xbox Accessories app. I tested it on 2 different computers.

Also, my headset is a Philips SHL3075 and my Series S OS Version is 10.0.22000.3832 (xb_flt_2203co.220303-2245).

Thank you for contacting the Xbox Support forums. I understand that your headset is not reproducing sound on your Xbox Series controller. If you have not done so already, please attempt to revert the firmware update to see if this resolves the issue. You may do so by following the steps in this article: My Xbox controller has connection issues after the last update.

I would like to see if the error is specific with the latest update. If the error continues, please feel free to respond back to this thread. With details regarding the headset you are currently using.

It could also be a controller problem, if you can't solve it you can always replace the controller under warranty

The issue only reproduced on controller model 1708. I also have the elite controller model 1698 on this device the issue doesn't reproduce.

Could somebody who has controller model 1708 check this issue on their controllers? It is needed for making sure that it was not a problem specifically my instance.

Steps for reproducing:

1. Switch on the console.

2. Plug your headset to the controller.

3. Make sure that all works as expected, the sound played through headset.

4. Wait 15 minutes (this is default time for gamepad sleep mode)

5. Wakeup the gamepad by pressing the power button (button with the XBOX logo) on the gamepad.

6. Make sure that after wakeup is no sound in the headset plugged to the gamepad.

Hello Fearless Son! What model Gamecom do you have? Now is your regular Xbox 360 Headset's Mic able to pick up any sound at all? Also are you able to reproduce this issue on another controller?
