    My son recently got a computer monitor, mouse, and keyboard to connect to his Xbox one. He loves the set up but now his headset will not work correctly. He can hear but the mic does not work so he can't talk to his teammates in the game. Is there a solution to this or a specific headset he needs? He previously plugged his headset into his controller, but this isn't needed or functional when using the keyboard and mouse. Any suggestions on how to resolve this?

    That won't work at all. There's no way for the Mic audio to get to the Xbox. You have to plug the headset into the controller for the mic to work, or use a licensed USB or wireless based peripheral.

    He has been using an ASTRO A10 headset ehich worked fineplugged into his controller and television. But since connecting his Xbox to the keyboard and mouse, he has been plugging his headset into the back of the computer monitor. The sound is great but the mic doesn't work at all. The monitor, mouse and keyboard are plugged into the Xbox.

    xbox does not support usb headsets to my knowledge so you would not be able to use 3.5mm to usb adapter.

    why is your controller turning off after 15 minutes, if its the battery or battery pack you may need a new one, or plug your controller into a charger or usb port to keep constant power on.
