    Headset distortion (Xbox One)


    So when i was playing RDR2 and minecraft my 1 year old headset starts to produce lower quality and lower pitched sounds. This problem occured just today after I handed it over to a family member for a bit so he could do his work. He owns a Windows 10 Home PC and the day after he used it and he handed it back to me it stopped working on xbox. Not just ingame audio was distorted but xbox GUI sounds were also lower pitched. I set the setting for audio to stereo and it still is broken. Help?

    Don't get the Microsoft wireless Xbox headset I made the mistake of thinking they were good but they disconnect and sound distorted a lot I guess that's why they now have a wired one.
