Headset continuously beeping

If you're experiencing poor audio quality, connection issues, or other problems with your Xbox Wireless Headset, check the Known Issues page to see if your problem is listed there, and if there's a solution or workaround.

If the issue still persists after completing the above troubleshooting steps then I'd suggest you contact your headset brand support for a replacement of the headset.

Am I supposed to hear a beep when I do that. Mute button turn yellow but no beeping. I hear a beep on the headset that comes with the console. That's why I'm wondering if mine is broken.

It sounds like the headset may be in need of a repair. Do you have a friend or family member with an Xbox One console that wouldn't mind letting you try your headset with their controller/console? If so, give that a shot and let us know how it goes.

If the beeping and mute/volume buttons continue to not cooperate, I suggest heading over to our
Repair Center to set up a repair for your console.
