Over the past day I've been having an issue with my xbox's headset audio. At random intervals the audio will either crackle/distort or cut out entirely. I've used 3 different controllers with 2 seperate headsets and I'm still getting the issue. Anyone know
    how to fix this?

    Controllers used:

    Xbox One Standard Controller

    Elite Controller v1

    Elite Controller v2

    Headsets used:

    HyperX Cloud Stinger

    Astro A20 Wireless

    :)

    Hello RIG0R M0RTIS,

Can you try to connect your Gamepad via USB cable to the console and try again, just to check the issue is not the wireless communicator?
Update: I used a USB cable in all 3 of the controllers and had the same issue.

Are you using a headset adaptor of any sort? If so try removing that. Had similar issues and found that the headset adaptor was the cause of all of them.

I brought my xbox to a different house and haven't been having any headset issues. I don't know the specs of the internet I was on before.

The issue is resolved for the time being, I guess.

    Definitely a connection issue.

Those fall under interference and network. Have you had this previously? What has changed if not?

As suggested, make sure you try with the units very near each other (no more than 1.5m) and there are no other EMI makers around.

Make sure you have the firmware which is proper (remember, latest is not always the best), be sure and read the reviews firmware updates about your headset and any adapters.

The other can be your internet.

Please give some more details about the components and the health of your interenet. I believe with that data we can get to the bottom of this.

If you use the headphones with other devices, PC, Phone etc, do you still get static and cuts?
