Headset adapter not working

    Headset adapter not working


    So every day when I stop playing I put my controller away, with the headset and adapter plugged in, for the first time today, I picked it up as normal to start playing but now the headset adapter will not work at all, I can't even press the mute button to
    get the LED orange mute light up, any and all help is appreciated.

    Headset Adapter not working

    I'm having a similar problem, the pins broke off my turtle beach adapter and now it doesn't work. Does anyone know what the pins do besides align the adapter ?,

    Headset Adapter not working

    I have the lunar white controller and my headsets work with the 3.5 mm but don't work with the headset adapter. I want to use the mute and volume on the adapter the mute button lights up and I can hear game volume through my headset but can't hear party
    or game chat and the mic won't work with the adapter. I have a HyperX headset and x32 turtle beach headset that doesn't work with the adapter. The controller is updated so I don't know what the problem would be.

    Headset Adapter - Chat not heard on my end.

    Its the adapter, or whatever they've done to its firmware/software.

    Both Tritton headsets. do the same thing when connected to the Xbox One adapter.

    Even the turtle beach headset I had for my 360 worked with the Xbox One adapter, and it doesn't work properly now either. Same issue. People can hear me. I can't hear them.

    All headsets work with the Tritton adapter. Unfortunately Microsoft won't license anyone to sell an adapter separate from a headset.

    Those TB Adapter are mainly for their own headsets it does say they might not fully work with other headsets I would update using the TB Adapter with your xo then just see how the other headset works.

    The PS4 Gold headphones work with the XB1 as well.

    You just need the XB1 headset adapter and the cable going from the headset to the adapter. Works pretty well.

    Hi KieranDelaney7,

    Since third-party products didn't work. I would highly advice that you get the Xbox One Headset Adapter instead. This will be a one time cost but should definitely work.

    Headset not working

    Are you using a third party controller? If not, you may require a headset adapter (as stated above). Xbox controllers have a unique input jack size that work with Xbox headsets or require an adapter to work with third party headsets.
