headphones volume became lower?

I had my broken xbox one s controller replaced and then on that new controller, the volume was slightly lower than it was on my other xbox one s controller, and on my black xbox one original controller. I had the controller replaced again but the volume
was still lower, and then, suddenly the volume became lower on my black controller too.

What is happening here? My black controller had issues with the jack not processing the sound information, and in the past I have had this issue before where one of my controllers had louder volume than the other, but when I tried both my black controllers,
they both had louder volume than my new white one, so the issue with the other black controller seemed to be gone. Until now, when all of my controllers have the same issue. I have made sure the volume bar is all the way up and chat mixer is all the way to
the left. And I have used the same turtle beach headphones for a year, so it can't be a case of different headphones having different levels of volume.

Any advice?

Can't find volume control???

are we using headphones? maybe try changing the volume for the your tv. If we are using headphone then you have a volume control on your chat adapter or on the headset its self to control the volume for the headphones.

This could definitely be an issue with the headset, to be sure it is not let's test that headset on a friend's controller with your console and on another console.

Let's also have you test those controllers on another console, test a friend's headset, and with a USB connection.

Once all of that is complete post back and let us know the results!
