Headphones stuttering/popping/crackling noise.

Hi i have a new xbox one s all digital console and controler and i have been experiencing issues using my headphones. I have a regular set of headphones with no mic that i use to listen to audio from the console. There is a a constant audio stuttering/popping/crackling
noise that is being made during any kind of audio signal (gameplay, video from apps like youtube, or even just selecting various tiles on the xbox home menu. I have done some research and have come across the “clear your alternative MAC adress” fix but it
has not had any effect. Controler and xbox firmware are up to date. Restarting the console has no effect. The controler is brand new and has no debris in the port, i use a xbox one rechargable battery with full charge/and plugged into a usb charger and
it has no effect plugged in or not. This interferance noise sounds like a software issue (very “digital” sounding and not like interference you’d here from a simple physical interferance source like on a car radio). I have tried everything i can think of
and there are no other fixes i have found online please help!

try another pair of head phones if it stills make that sound the it could be your controller.

sounds like your having connection problem.

This is a widespread issue. Any headphones used, any controller used, this issue does not go away. It seems to be caused to "interference" but is really the transmission between the controller and console failing, possibly a hardware failure in the console.

Sorry that you have audio issues. First you have to make sure that your headphones are compatible with your new Xbox. Do you have an other headphones that you could try with your new system?

That really sounds like an issue with the wiring. If you can, try using the headphones on a different device (phone, different controller, tablet or computer). If you have the same issue on all of the devices you have a bad wire in the headphone. If
there is no issue with any of the devices then you have a problem with your headphone jack on your controller.
