Headphone sound is horrible

Multiple users have been reporting these audio issues since the April update was Implemented. It is up to Bungie to release a fix for this.

In the mean time, various users have reported that turning off the ‘3D audio’ option on the console has helped

I'm on my 3rd pair of DX11's, and I'm about to bring them back for yet another replacement. Luckily I paid for the extended warranty, otherwise I would have been ***. Every time after a few months one of the speakers starts rattling. Basically the speaker
starts to go out. I certainly don't listen to them too loud. They just suck. The bass and sound stage is superb but the quality of the headphones is horrible. I had the $60 old style of Turtle Beach headphones in the past and they were fantastic (great
bass). After a couple of years when the cord got damaged I bought the new $60 TB headphones and they had no bass whatsoever. Seems like they started making their headphones with cheap material. Also seems like they made their basic headphones which were
great in the past, horrible so people would upgrade (such as myself).



Can someone out there who is familiar with Best Buy headphones give me a suggestion for something other than TB headphones? I can swap them out for something $130 or under. I'm particularly looking for wired Xbox chat compatible headphones with an emphasis
on bass.

The only way to adjust the sound without any adjuster within the headphones itself is to change the sound mix by going into the settings itself within the Xbox One dashboard.

Configure sound and chat mixer settings

Sound mixer allows you to adjust the blend of sound between visible apps. Chat mixer lets you adjust the blend of sound between your game and your chat communications.

1. Go to the Home screen.
2. Press the Menu button on the controller.
3. Select Settings.
   
   Note You can say “Xbox, go to settings” from any screen, but you’ll need a controller to navigate once you’re on the
   Settings screen.
4. Select Display & sound.
5. Select the type of audio mix you’d like to adjust.

I thank you but I have already followed those aids and made me understand that my adapter, attached to the xbox360 controller, works great. the problem is that when I start a game, any game, I don't hear any sound.

hello and thanks for your reply. but I use the hdmi cable only to watch video games from my xbox360 console to my computer monitor. my problem is that if I record my voice, I can listen to it again, so the adapter that is connected to the controller, works
very well, but if I start the game, nothing is heard.
