Headphone jack not working properly?

Hey so yesterday the controller audio jack stoped working. I tried everything, reset the controller, the default settings, etc. Today I tried to plug in my headset that I use only for thus controller (with three black rings) on my phone and it work fine,
when i tried to plug in my other headset with only two black rings it worked fine on the controller so i suspect that the problem's on the controller's audio jack?

Try Setting up a headset adapter which bypasses the 3.5mm socket which may have gone faulty. Also you may need to Update
your controller firmware. A new update was released recently.

Yes, to use microphone properly headphone jack needs to have 3 lines, will be nice test with a cable or headset with the 3 lines headphone jack <3.5mm>)

Hello, the headphones has both USB and jack port, I used to jack with my controller, no adapter is needed.

There are reports of others running into compatibility issues with certain headsets, please take a look at this

Both the Xbox One and original Xbox One Wireless Controllers supports secondary devices, such as audio headsets, through its controller expansion port.
