HDR —- RELATED —- BUG

And my XBX has no issues with my Grundig TV, I guess, because that isn't HDR capable. And when using my video capture card at my iMac, I just need to disable HDR and the audio issue is gone.

So, the main source of the problem seems to be HDR related.

I've had this occasionally and as far as I can tell it's related to how my Series X (or One X before that) invokes HDR on my TV. It's intermittent and was often resolved by launching a HDR game or rebooting my XBox.

What is the brand and model of your TV? Have you tried different HDMI cables and inputs?

If this is an HDR-related issue, try these things:

• If you have a non-HDR TV, go to the display settings and set color depth to "8-bit".
• If you have an HDR TV, check your TV settings and enable HDR color over the HDMI port you're connected to. Depending on your TV, they might call it different things (UHD Color, HDR-10, HDMI UHD, etc).

On your console display settings, is HDR and Dolby Vision enabled?

Most people that get flickers on the screen (both playing or only on the dashboard) with Dolby Vision on is because both HDR and Dolby Vision are enabled at the same time.

Just try to turn HDR off and see if it solves your problem. If it does, unfortunately we will not be able to do much about it. It's a bug reported by some people and the only option would be use HDR or Dolby Vision, not both at the same time

As soon as I got the new monitor I changed to 4K since the old TV I used to run it on only supported 1080p,

The monitor doesn't have HDR (it's not high end) so I don't have HDR enabled so it's probably not a HDR related issue

I'll try turning it down to 1080p and see if it experience, many thanks
