    HDR Receiver Issue

A week ago my Xbox one X stop transmitting the HDR signal through my receiver to my TV. The TV will display that there is no signal. My receiver is a Denon X 2400 and my TV is a Vizio M 75. I’ve tried swapping out cables and updating to the latest firmware
without success. It appears to be a communication issue between the Xbox and the receiver. When I connect the Xbox directly to the TV signal transfers fine. What is really strange is that when I hooked up a friends Xbox one X it worked fine transmitting through
the receiver, and my Xbox one S also works fine. The issue seems to be unique to my Xbox one X. Is it a hardware issues? Is my HDMI port bad? What is also strange is that when I test the 4K under settings I get all green checkmarks. Any ideas on what to
do? I have reset my receiver to factory settings with no success and I am out of ideas. Please help.

    :)

    HDR Receiver Issue

I thought about direct to TV with an optical out but want to feed to my receiver directly so I utilize the more advanced sound decoding like Dolby Atmos. I think is must be a hardware issue since I used another Xbox and it worked. Thanks.

    Hello EliWhite2,

Seems as you're possibly having a hardware issue. If you factory reset the Xbox and it does the same thing your best bet is to see if you have a warranty still on your Xbox (1 year manufacturers) Xbox has a warranty process you can go through.

    Best regards!

Sadly I think you are right. Unfortunately, the warranty is up. The xbox is about 18 months old. Thanks.

    HDR Receiver Issue

Its best not to put things between uhd devices and your tv

The best solution would be all UHD devices to your tv any hd only to your receiver then to your tv

Plus optical out to your receiver

    This reduces latency

Also you gotta remember you have to have more UHD hdr compatibLE cables if you insist on the receiver and Not all hdmi cables are created equal

    Usually hdmi2.0 should do

Older cables like 1.4 wont support hdr or UHD

Also have to.remember not all ports are UHD OR HDR

As mentioned more high UHD devices you have on a single chain the more demand for speed on that single link

Xbox One S and Epson 5040UB

Having the same issue, Epson 5040ub w/ Xbox One S, HDR isn't working on anything (UHD, Netflix, games) despite receiver and all cables being HDMI 2.0a / 4K HDR supported spec.
