    HDR or NAT type causing GTA ONLINE to crash?


    So basically I been running series x for about 4 months now brand new. With the same settings and has worked without hitch. Up until I recent bought the newly released GTAO(no story mode just the multiplayer mode edition) . For about two days after I converted my previous gen account to the newly decked out version of the game. I experienced a crash. The crash went from one ever hour or so to every 30 mins Now to the point the movement I get in a vehicle the game will crash. Where the frame freezes but I can still hear the ambiance of noises around me. How ever no other hiccups with any other game. I’ve tried re routing ip ports, I’ve reset my system several times with and with out keeping games . Cleared blu ray data. Persistent storage saved data. Tried re installing the original gta literally have tried every suggestion available on forums all across the net. With absolutely no luck fixing my current problem at hand.

    Hello George, does this only happen with this game in this mode or does it happen with other games and other game modes?

    When NAT it basically affects its ability in online multiplayer, in the matter of HDR only if the version in question was with some bug.

    My NAT type says OPEN too but GTA online keeps kicking me back into story mode and port forwarding is my only hope

    NAT type used to say moderate until I changed it to upn plug n play or whatever its called

    How to play with friends

    Are you able to play online with other people? Is your NAT type set to 3? That can cause issues with creating lobbies and such.
