HDR no longer works

At least yout tv is recognized as hdr compatible. My Panasonic Viera TX-65X900E is no longer recognized as having hdr support. It worked fine before the last two updates, (am in the preview programme).

I´ve tried swapping hdmi inputs and have tried with 3 different cables all to no avail. Most annoying.

I own a sony 850C. NEWEST UPDATES for the tv and Xbox. Though the tv is hdr 10 and passed everything in the past. As of the latest update, the tv no longer can handle hdr gaming. This needs to be fixed.

Ok I know this is a old Post and old problem but I spent a few hours with Xbox tech and we figured it out for me at least. I was running hdmi 2.2 or what I thought. I was getting HDR 10 while playing blue ray on Xbox S. Yet got a black screen on gears of
war or Netflix if I had HDR checked off. Everything was green in settings yet still black screen on HDR content even though blue ray would play in HDR 10. So long story short the cheap looking hdmi cable that came with the Xbox S fixed everything. Now Netflix
plays in HDR 10 and so does the games like gears of war wish it was longer but just glad it works now.

After the recent April update my XBOX ONE S is no longer displaying colors correctly for any HDR content.

I would hold off just a little while longer for a 4K TV. There are competing standards for HDR, with the two main ones being HDR-10 and Dolby Vision. The difference between them being the colour depth and peak brightness. HDR-10 is the standard
chosen for UHD Blu-rays. Dolby Vision is the more advanced of the two but requires more processing hardware. Dolby Vision supports HDR-10 by default, but not the other way round.
