    HDR Issues with newest Skip Ahead on Sony Bravia 900F series TVs


    White the recent Skip ahead build Sony Bravia 900F series TVs lost gaming HDR capabilities. Was working just fine and after the update the XBOX no longer recognizes the TV as gaming HRD capable.

    Hi,

    Not all TV's support HDR on all HDMI connections.

    On my Sony Bravia 4K TV, only two out of the four support HDR even though they all support 4K resolution.

    What TV do you have?

    I own a sony 850C. NEWEST UPDATES for the tv and Xbox. Though the tv is hdr 10 and passed everything in the past. As of the latest update, the tv no longer can handle hdr gaming. This needs to be fixed.

    Unless it’s a problem with TV problems itself, your TV may not just be suited to full 4K HDR. I know from experience i bought a Sony Bravia 4K TV to go with my Xbox One X when i first bought it and i had this exact issue.

    Xbox Oe X Scorpio HDR Washed Out

    Same problem here... With my Sony Bravia x90e (KD-55XE9005).

    All is checked with a green mark the the video setting of the console (4k, HDR, etc.).

    The correct HDMI input is used on the TV and the enhanced feature is activated (to allow 4k and HDR)

    My TV activate de HDR logo during HDR content... But for some reason all HDR contents look washed out.

    It is like the console send a picture for HDR that is not processed ...

    The black levels and colors are far better with the HDR option deactivated in console.

    I have no HDR problems with internal apps of the tv or with the PS4.

    I have a similar issue.

    Yesterday when I updated to beta and then inserted my STB HDMI cable it worked fine.

    Today, from instant on, TV shows black screen. Reseating the HDMI cables makes a few frames of picture come through then black again.

    STB: Humax Foxsat HDR HD

    TV: Sony Bravia 42in
