    Hello!

    I just bought an Xbox one s and can't get the HDR to work if I connect it via the AV receiver to the TV.

    My set up is Xbox One s - - - >Onkyo Tx-nr676e - - - > Samsung UE75MU6175.

    I use hdmi 2.0b cables and have hdmi pass through put on automatic.

    Could someone please assist.

    Xbox One S and Epson 5040UB

    Having the same issue, Epson 5040ub w/ Xbox One S, HDR isn't working on anything (UHD, Netflix, games) despite receiver and all cables being HDMI 2.0a / 4K HDR supported spec.

    The Xbox One S 4K Blu-Ray Player Is A Disaster...Good Job!!

    There are a number of AV issues with the Xbox One S/X and UHD Blu-ray playback, your guess is as good as mine if they will be fixed.

    Certain UHD titles are broken and will not play.

    Dolby Atmos is unreliable.

    4K AV receiver HDMI handshaking issues.

    Image quality issues, the wrong color matrix being used in Blu-ray playback (see review comparison

    in link    ).

    They could have broken something on the One S in their rush to fix the broken Blu-ray HDR on the One X with the 10.0.16299.4037 that includes said HDR fix.

    Happy to help troubleshoot!

    Are you using the HDMI cable that came with the console?

    Have you tested the console without the receiver and gotten HDR to work?

    If you set up the pass through manually do you see an issue?

    Let's have you follow all of the steps on the
    HDR test guide     and post photos of the results with and without the receiver!

    it seems to be an issue on many different tv models so it's definitely an Xbox one S firmware problem not receiving the HDR signal correctly
