    HDR games can't be resumed


    Since a few Alpha firmwares, it appears I can't resume HDR games anymore. When I switch to an SDR application like Youtube for 5-10 minutes, when I come back to the game, console switches back to HDR but gets stuck on black screen and game seems frozen has it's not at all reactive to any button, no sound output.

    It happened with RDR2, Gears5 lately, but I suppose it's broken for any HDR game. I've already reported it once on RDR2.

    Xbox series X has no in game sound but has sound on dashboard and everywhere else

    In my case it helped to disable HDR in Xbox settings and don't use Quick Resume.

    Sound cuts out when switching apps.

    Does the sound cut out temporarily or altogether? If it's the former, I've experienced this myself and it's usually with games that run with HDR since it resets the image when I go from the game to my dashboard. The audio makes a brief beep sound but then
    resumes as usual. However if your issue is losing sound altogether then that could be something else...

    xbox one s can't support FHD / QHD HDR

    Xbox one s only supports HDR game in UHD 4K2K 60Hz Timing.

    As a result, there is a number of of FHD / QHD displays that suppot HDR can't turn on HDR in Xbox one s.

    It should also support FUD / QHD HDR for better compatibility.

    Suggest xbox developer to consider to support gaming HDR with 1080p @50/60 hz and 1440p @50/50 hz timings.
    Additionally, lots of VESA DPM DisplayHDR Displays are 1080P.

    Xbox one X MUST SUPPORT FHD HDR!

    Seems weird that it can't as the Xbox One S does 1080p HDR, can't you just change the resolution to 1080p in the settings and have HDR enabled in the advanced video settings
