    Hi Folks,

    Just need to know, i have recently bought new Xbox Series S..

    I have connected HDMI Male to Female adapter in HDMI Port of my Xbox and then connected my Monitor to Xbox via MaleFemale HDMI Adapter.

    I swap my HDMI cable regularly between laptop

    Just wanted to know if i swap my hdmi cable during instant on state (Standby Mode) is there any chance of damage to HDMI Port of Xbox due to Electrical discharge or something else?

    yes, it is three-phase, the problem is if the energy network installed in your home has the third phase connected to a ground rod to inhibit large discharges.

    Wear and tear on the HDMI port would become an issue. I would go with a switch box. Connect the laptop and the console to the Switcher and the switcher connects to the monitor. Change inputs with the button on the switch box.
