HDMI ports faulty and cheap?

Does your TV have multiple HDMI ports?

It is possible that one of them is faulty, or the Xbox itself has a faulty HDMI port.

its probably is the hdmi port. i bought one with faulty internal memory. brand new like that.

It was the HDMI port after all, I managed to get my 360 replaced for a slim and the issues have resolved and I have got 1080p back

If you are getting issues on 720p, 1080i and 1080p only but other resolutions are fine then it is your HDMI port

Getting the same issue on 60gb pro, fine on HD component, but when using HDMI i get flicker and red and green pixels. I have tried the cable with other devices and they work fine, and have tried all the ports. I brought it back to the shop i bought it
from and they have tested with an offfical HDMI on their TV and it worked perfectly. So I bought offical HDMI and when I got home set it up again and I am still having the issue.

Now I know people will say its my TV but my PS3, SKY HD work perfectly on it so I am at a loss here.





Sorry TV is Samsung 40 in LCD that supports 1080p
