HDMI out port to TV is broke

so
my hdmi out to TV port is broke on my xbox one s. Was wondering if there is any other way I will be able to play on the console without using the port. Is there a way a can use the HDMI in port to be able to play on the console.

Any help would be much appreciated.

You will need to contact support at Xbox.com and schedule a repair.

It is possible to use game streaming with your Xbox One however for the best gaming experience possible I would recommend either getting your console repaired or replaced.

Hello C0nd1t10nR3D,

How the Xbox One works with being able to control the TV is that the Xbox One has a HDMI In port and a HDMI Out port. If a person had a cable set-top box, they would take the HDMI cable from that and plug it into the HDMI In port on the Xbox One, and then
connect an HDMI cable to the HDMI Out port and connect that to the TV.

In your case, I think it could only work if your TV had both a HDMI Out port and a HDMI In port. If this is the case, which I don't ever think I've heard of a thing for just a TV (I guess it could be possible), then you would go from the TV's HDMI Out port
to the Xbox One's HDMI In port and from the Xbox One's HDMI Out port to the TV's HDMI In port.

Maybe your TV HDMI port is broke.

Did you try to connect something else with an HDMI to that TV?

Nevermind…just saw you said you tested it already.

Hi please try checking both hdmi ports and see if they are clean you can also check the Xbox on another TV and see if it works there if it does then the tv is broke
