HDMI Cutting Out - Xbox Series X

XBOX Series X, newest patch....sound cuts out minutes after loading. Restart the game and it works for about 2 minutes then cuts out again. It is only the Marvel Avengers game and it is new after the Tachyon rift patch.

And what if I buy a cable will it work

But whether you use a HDMI 2.1 cable or not, the HDMI port on the TV needs to be HDMI 2.1 to achieve the 120hz refresh rates at 4K.

using a HDMI 2.1 cable on a TV port with HDMI 2.0 will still only limit the Xbox Series X to 60hz refresh rates.

I actually managed to fix it last night... but hadn't tried it until today. I placed my knife in the hdmi port and made sure all of the connector plates were completely flat in the plastic holder in the middle. Its worked since then, thank you for the reply

Clean out the HDMI port on the back of the console with possibly a can of pressurized air if you have it available to you. Have you tried to go into your HDMI settings on console, its possible that they are set to 1080p and maybe your tv is only 1080i, I
would try that first, drop them down one setting and see if that works...if your able to see a screen at all at this point. If not, do you have another tv available that you can hook up console to just in order to change the settings?

And now it decides to do it again, but now it does it every 3 seconds after it comes back on. Extremely frustrated with this problem.
