    Hdd Died stuck on insider program OS


    My Xbox One S's HDD died on me and i was going to replace it with a ssd i already have it formatted and all of the drive partitions done correctly, Only issue is, is that i was apart of the insider program.. The osu file wont download because its older compared to what my console was on beforehand. Does anyone have any information that could help me with a downloadable file? Or am I going to have to wait untill the next update comes out ?

    Erm..........................am I missing something here?

    Your saying that the latest version of the Xbox OS has bricked your external HDD?

    HOW?

    How could that possibly happen?

    Nothing about the system OS goes onto the external HDD, so why would it brick it?

    Also I've been in the Insider program for a couple of years (think I'm an Alpha Insider) and nothing on my system has been bricked and like I said I'm an Alpha Insider so I get really dodgy OS's.

    hi could anybody help me with the offline system update? my system gets stuck on 33% update and 72% overall and then just stops before going back to system error.

    Are you in the XBox Insider Program? If so, you need to unenroll from the program prior to using OSU's.

    As stated in this XBox Insiders Wiki OSU's CAN'T be used if your console is a Insider OS build.
