    Having Xbox issues with this "SOMETHING WENT WRONG, 0x8007003B" error code


    Yesterday evening (May 8, 2024) when I went to log into my Xbox One account I received this error message: SOMETHING WENT WRONG, 0x8007003B. The day before I had no issues. I noticed online through troubleshooting searches that others were having the same problem. Some provided tips for fixing which I tried to no avail... even removing and replacing my initial account... which worked... until I shut down and logged in again later and was greeted by the same error. This is extremely frustrating. I'm thinking there is something going on with the servers?? I did notice there was an OS update and wonder if that is the culprit? Please help!! I'm paying for services I cant access and I certainly don't want to keep removing and replacing my existing account.

    I'm sorry you are experiencing issues accessing your games.

    If you don't mind, I'd like to ask you a few questions:

    - May I ask which Xbox model you are using?

    - To clarify, is this happening when signing in, or when launching a game?

    - Could you go to Settings > General > Network Settings, and let me know what you see under "Current Network Status"? your network's name is not necessary.

    I would like more information about the problem you are having.

    I too sent my x-box in for repair and had problems at first. But for a better understanding, you need screenshots or at least a description of the problem so you can get help.
