Having trouble with multiplayer - help?

So I was able to play multiplayer on AC4 a few days ago. I played about ten games, it worked pretty well.

Since then I've been trying to get back on multiplayer, but I haven't managed to. It keeps searching for a session but it never connects.

Then it switches to starting a session with me in it, and it searches for players. Again, it never finds players and it just keeps cycling between looking for sessions and looking for players.

Eventually it gives up and tells me it can't find a session, would I like to try again? Some of the time it also tells me that I have an invite to a party session but that doesn't seem to exist.

Is anybody else having these issues? I've never changed the default settings, and like I said, it worked for a couple of hours, but nothing since. Any ideas on what to do or what's going on?

Having Trouble With Multiplayer Today?

Anybody else having problems with Matchmaking today? I've been getting a "Information could not be retrieved from Xbox Live" message all day when trying to join online matches. I know it's not affecting everybody since I see "XXXX Current Players and XXXXXX
Players Online." When I am successful in joining a match, the game freezes shortly after the match starts. My other online games are working fine.

I had similar problems with Halo 3 throughout the day yesterday, along with not being able to get Black Ops to run at all, lol.

I experience the same thing from time to time. Eventually (usually after 3 tries) I get in a game.

If I'm lucky' I might get into one with people my own skill level!

I've been having intermittent problems all week. Not limited to today. Seems to get sketchy around 4am (EST) for me.
