I am trying to change username on a child account and cannot find out where the request for username changes go. Any information can help like if I can change the settings so that a request is not needed, or if you know exactly where it goes that would help as well. Thanks!

Sorry to hear you're having trouble with the multiplayer settings. Just want to confirm if you have Microsoft family group and your child is in there?

Please try to follow these steps to enable multiplayer, try to check the image below as a visual guide:

1. Go to settings page https://account.xbox.com/Settings?rtc=1&act...

2. Sign in using the parent’s account if you are in a family group.

3. Click on the tile for the child account you want to manage.

4. Select Xbox and Windows Online Safety tab.

5. Find these settings and set them to enable/allowed:

-Join multiplayer games

-Join cross-network play

6. Click Submit and wait for the page to reload.

7. Sign out of Minecraft and restart for the new settings to take effect.

This doesn't help with my situation. Nothing I can do to change my settings so I can play with my friends on Minecraft which should be a game that EVERYONE should have multiplayer compatibility but for some reason, I can't do it. The game says I need realm
which is fine, but apparently my settings are messed up and I can't change it. I'm 17 fresh out of high school and a man can't play Minecraft with the boys when my birthday almost coming up. My account shouldn't be labeled as "child" When I'm a grown person
now.
