Having trouble reporting a message or messages from an attacking person/player using 2...

Just taking some action that raises awareness about Online Safety and I speak for myself and hopefully I will learn that fighting fire with fire, surely I will get burned so to those of you I have concerned, I will take a sip of water and realise I was being nervous to say the least but I will not having this type of problem as many of you are likely to think much more smarter than I did, so thank you for concerning yourself enough to reply to my question, and if there is anything else, I will be more explanatory for the next one. If it comes to any of that in the future.

3 golden rules:

NEVER answer such people. Trolls live from attention. Don't feed the trolls !

Report them.

Block them.

The rest is the job of the enforcement team.

report the DDos attacks to your ISP as they may prosecute the person.

report hacking and cheating to the developers using an in-game function and/or to Xbox Live Policy Enforcement by going on the person's profile and using the report feature there.

report offensive messages either by using the report feature on the message or by going to their profile.

but most importantly, Do Not send them any messages because if you use one swear word or insult you will have broken the Code of Conduct and
they will report it to get you a communication ban.

your best course of action is to report, mute and block toxic players and leave the party chat as soon as they start being toxic.

change lobbies if you have to and then forget about them.

After you report someone, you may receive a Xbox Live message later saying action was taken on a prior report. Other than that message, you will not know when action is taken against another account.

When coming across a toxic player, it's always best to mute/block, report if attacks are personal, and move on. Never engage a toxic player.

if the threat was made in message you can report the player from the options at the bottom of the message.

if they do a ddos attack, turn off the power to your router for 5 minutes and you should get a new IP address when you turn it back on.

also block the player after sending the report
