What exactly is your Xbox console model/version?

Please try to simply restart your console by pressing and holding the power button and click on Restart.

If that doesn't solve the issue, let's re-add your account to refresh your account data which may be causing the app to freeze.

Note: Before doing these steps, please make sure that you know exactly the email address that's linked to your gamertag and the password to it so you can add the correct account again.

1. Remove account:
Press the Xbox button to open the guide. Select System > Settings > Account > Remove accounts. Select the account that you want to remove, and then select Remove to confirm. When you're finished, select Close.

2. Power cycle:
Press and hold Xbox's power button for 10 sec. Unplug the power supply for 30 sec. Plug it back in and turn it on again.

3. Add account:
Press the Xbox button to open the guide. Select your gamerpic in the upper-left corner of the screen, move all the way down and select Add new.

Enter the email address for the Microsoft account that you want to add, and then select Enter.

Lord Dirt are you having trouble redeeming your extra 400 points that gamestop gave you. The 1600 for the VIP Pass when thur no problem but I keep getting an error for the additional 400 points

You can earn points by searching with Bing daily, doing some polls and quizzes they have, etc. They also have an app on the console so you can earn points through that by clicking on specific items and doing specific weekly tasks. If you have Game Pass you
can also earn points through the Game Pass app by playing games. The points can be used to redeem Gold, Xbox gift cards, and gift cards to other places as well.

The daily points have been increased

No they haven’t. It’s 3 points a day to play a Game Pass game. And, like Lee, there are no extra quests on the app for me.

Still no joys and still no points this morning for daily achievement and game pass .
