Having trouble opening the Xbox App due to stuck downloads on the microsoft store

Managed to fix it with some assistance. Once I managed to remove the stuck download everything started working again

Hello, I done everything you said, it worked sort of. Now it says it could not update due to an error on microsofts end. I used the commands you said to do to re-download it from the microsoft store. Now the xbox app is just stuck on the downloading screen at 0%

• open windows app store (microsoft store)
  
• log out from your primary account (in the microsoft store)
  
• go to windows services
  
• stop "windows update service"
  
• erase contents of folder: C:\Windows\SoftwareDistribution
  
• restart your computer
  
• open windows app store, log in yourself
  
• start xbox app (beta)
  
• download game
