Having trouble connecting to the Xbox network.

My Xbox says that it is connected to my wi-fi. However, it is not connecting to the Xbox network, so I cannot play online, connect to the store, connect to the game pass, etc. If I connect to my phone's hotspot, everything works as it should. I've been on the phone with xbox/microsoft customer service. We have went through a large variety of procedures and still nothing. I have also had conversations with my internet provider and they are no help as well. I've done everything from resetting my xbox, resetting my modem, going from wireless to wired, to changing about any setting you can think of. Any help please!

If it works on your hotspot, it is most likely an issue with your home network. This can be tricky to solve sometimes as some providers are unable or unwilling to accept fault and solve the problem. In that case, your best option (and last resort) might be to consider switching to a different provider.

There may be some more steps to try before considering that, however. Has your internet provider tried any specific solutions so far, e.g port forwarding, updating router firmware, etc.?

Turn console off and remove the power cord while you restart (power cycle) your network hardware (gateway, router, modem).

Wait for the network to complete its connection to the network (green lights) and then restore power cable to console and turn it on.
