    Having trouble buying Xbox game pass for pc


    I just downloaded the xbox app for pc and when I launched it, it told me I could get 3 months of xbox gamepass ultimate for 1 dollar, so I click on join, and after I verify that it's me with windows security, it says Try that again, something went wrong.

    Nothing to worry, adding a payment card is only a one-time requirement because purchasing a subscription, by default enables automatic renewal that is why it is needed to have the payment card added to your account.

    The best option is to add your debit card even if it has insufficient funds on your Microsoft account on account.microsoft.com > payment and billing > payment option.

    Then purchase an Xbox gift card and redeem the codes by signing your account on redeem.microsoft.com

    Once you have the subscription active on your account, disable the automatic renewal on account.microsoft.com > Services and Subscription then you can remove your debit card from your Microsoft account.

    You will no longer be asked for a payment card the next time you purchase a subscription.

    Hi, If you bought Game pass for PC you will have to buy it on your Xbox. Xbox and PC Game pass are separate things.

    If i understand the problem, you want to buy them both an Xbox Game Pass subscription to play on their respective PC's ? Buy an Xbox Game Pass PC sub for each or a Ultimate Game Pass. Log their account on Xbox beta app on PC and buy them the correct sub.
    Or use xbox.com with their account correctly sign in and buy them Xbox Game Pass for PC.

    You have to buy the "PC Game Pass". NOT the "Xbox game pass".

    You might've bought the console version of game pass which is not compatible with pc. To use game pass on pc, you either need to buy the pc version, or game pass ultimate
    I have purchased the PC (Beta) Xbox pass.
