Having to restore to factory settings every session due to wifi problems

Hi, I hope you're doing great out there. I am an Independent advisor and I am here to help you in regard to your concern.

We may need to perform an extended powercycle and reset your network hardware by following the steps below:

1. Unplug the power cable from the back of the router, modem, or gateway for 5 minutes. If you have a router and a modem, unplug the power cable from both devices.

2. Press and hold the Xbox button on your console for 10 seconds or until it turns off then wait for 2 minutes before turning it on again.

3. After 5 minutes, plug the modem or gateway in first, and wait for all the lights to return to their normal state.

4. If you are using a router, plug in the router and wait for all the lights to return to their normal state.

Try resetting the WiFi/Network. If that doesn't work, try restoring the Network Settings to Factory Defaults, then reconnect.

I had the same problem today. It worked perfectly fine last night. The way I was able to fix this issue was to Restore my Gateway/Router to factory settings. only problem with this is that it will only work for for a couple of hours then it will start giving
me problems again due to not having Virtual Ports and having IPv6 disabled

i have this problem going wifi while shring it through my pc and i ahve the new slim one. i usually just do a factory restore on the wireless network then turn off consle now turn it back on and try to connect again. that usually works for me every time.make
sure ur router is on first then ur xbox

try to restore factory settings on your network settings..this answer my problem =)
