    Having Issues With Remote Download Regarding Not Enough Space


    I have been trying to download some things from the Xbox Beta App V 2307.2.1 and I am on the Series X alpha skip ahead ring. When I try to download things from the app its says there isn't enough storage on my console but I have the 2TB Seagate Expansion Card inserted into it. When the not enough memory box pops up it shows the internal memory which I don't have enough space on. But in the my library section it does acknowledge that there is a expansion card. In my settings on the console I do have the card set as the default location for X|S and XB1 games. I was trying to preload Elder Scrolls Online Unlimited. I then tried some other random games like Resident Evil 4 and Dead Island. Some games that did install from the app to the card are Fallout 4 and Exoprimal. I am not sure why some games It'll download to the expanstion card but on others it tries to install to internal memory. I did try power cycling and removing and reinserting the card.     Hi Francia,

    Issue is now resolved … the problem was I had hardware issue , saying that there’s not enough space however I had 5 terabyte free there fore I keep getting download fail not enough space.

    You need to download the game to a single storage device, which has at least 6.7GB of free space. You cannot download it across two different storage devices.

    Maxen13 is correct. You do need to download the game to a singular storage device. you cannot use two storage devices to download something.

    Forza 5 saying it's 290 gigabytes

    if you're on PlayStation, PlayStation requires you have enough space to download everything and then enough space to decompress it
