Having issues with licenses of games I purchased a while back

I don't know if anyone else is having this problem. I've noticed in the last few months as I have run out of things to play I've gone back and wanted to play some of my older games like GTA San.

I've noticed as I've gone back that somehow the licenses on these games I've bought it's been years ago I bought San Andreas back in 2014 when I still had my 360 but I've started to notice that some of these older things I've purchased that when I go to the store to redownload them it tells me that I didn't purchase them I ended up having to contact support and they went back in my history and told me that I purchased the game and gave me the game back but is anyone else having this issue

Hey there,

As what I could understand with your issue. you're trying to re-download back a game that you claimed before while its a featured games with gold but unable to do it as it asks you to purchase it now. Well, what I could think of is that while it was featured
as a games with gold for that month, you have assigned another account as your home xbox so you where able to download and play the game back then.

You see, xbox does not remove/delete a game that was already added on an account's licenses. If you already own it, it will show as Already purchased with the date claimed. You could try to get in touch with phone or chat support to check your account license
but I don't think they could do something about it if it does not show under yours. You will need to purchase it to get the license and download it back on your xbox one console.

You must purchase the DLC for the game on the same account the game was purchased on. The game is licensed to her account while the DLC is licensed to yours. I do not believe there is away to transfer those licenses.

Unfortunately, i believe, you may have to purchase the DLC again on her account. If there is away to transfer the licenses someone will chime in.

What I meant was your account would only be able to access the game while it is signed into Live because your account is the account that purchased the game. If the licenses were not transferred, you would not be able to access the game while offline.

Also, when you do a license transfer, you do have to redownload the content after you do the transfer. It actually redownloads the licenses to your console. So that may fix the issue, like others have said.

There's two stages of delisted.

Removed from purchase but you can still redownload and completely wiped. A lot of the latter is unimportant stuff or license conflicts. For instance Telltale games went completely off for a while but many are back after licenses resolved.
