    HAVING ISSUES WITH FREEZES AND BSoD while playing games


    Hello, I am having issues with my PC for about a week with Random Freezes and the most annoying thing is having BSoD and freezes playing particularly 2 games that are:

    1) SPIDER MAN REMASTERED &

    2) GOD OF WAR

    I can Play for like just 10 minutes then suddenly the PC freezes or BSoD occurs.

    Recently PC just Froze while playing spider man shuts down with 3 beeps and after that when I try to turn on only PC fans are running with NO display on the monitor and No lights on the Keyboard and The mouse.

    Later it turned on but again the BSod occurs with error (irql_not_less_or_equal).

    Tried Updating windows and Graphics drivers and turning OFF D.O.C.P/XMP none of that helped me.

    I have done Memory Diagnostics and these problems are majority being faced in these 2 games and the random freezes happen anytime.

    Kindly Help me and I think that the problem is with my PSU.

    I'm an Independent Advisor and a Microsoft Xbox user like you.

    Hope you're doing great today despite this Prerit

    We can try to isolate the problem a bit more.
    First tell me, do you have any type of overclock applied to your processor, graphics card or RAM?
    If yes, please disable all of that and once your computer restart give it a new try.

    If it's not your case, try this:

    A. Open task manager > select the startup tab > disable all the programs listed there temporarily
    Restart the PC and try again

    B. Do a clean boot in your PC and try again (is like option A but deeper)

    Forgot to mention each time I install new driver, uninstall the previous one with DDU, I'm not noob about this and I have some knowledge. And as I said above, only Gears 5 and Gears of War 4 has those issues. Did you read It? I think not.

    My RAM are fine, 20 hours of memtest86, 8 passes two times, without errors.

    DId you watch the videos posted above? It happens randomly, while playing 5 or 15 minutes, or even at the start of main menu. Or as It happened me today while playing a few minutes the campaign. Those sites never helped me, and actually I posted It there:

    And I was ignored by Microsoft, only an advisor replied me with an obvious and useless answer, sorry being rude but It seems nobody read carefuly my concern.The Coalition on Gears forums never replied me, also I filled the form on Gears 5 support website:

    Again, nothing helped me. Only Nvidia replied me an e-mail I sent them, they told me "QA has now reproduced this problem and has the required logs. Engineering is investigating the root cause." But I don't think they really
    care to fix It, TC, Microsoft and Nvidia never solved the same issues on Gears of War 4.

    And the BSOD happened me today, was the first time with Gears 5. The previous issues were only freezes and crashes. The game didn't generated log event files or something similar to detect what happened.

    This actually quite difficult to diagnose. Your hardware seems fine, other than a possible issue with your hard drive.

    I can only suggest trying a re-install on a different hard drive or re-install your OS.

    There are no known current issues you describe for Gears 4 and 5. I have these games and don't have these issues on my PC.

    I'm not a Microsoft employee, I'm just trying to help a fellow PC gamer.

    When I try to run certain games with my graphics card enabled the game freezes up.

    Can't promise anything, but what are you actual PC specs? Also, I take it we're talking about a laptop here? A desktop PC wouldn't have this issue.

    If your PC/device is crashing to a BSOD, what does it say?
