    Having issues with discord to xbox voice chat


    I've recently been having issues with my discord not allowing me to transfer as it says that I do not have permission to transfer in any channel.

    Any help with this would be greatly appreciated

    Thank you for posting in Microsoft Xbox Community. I'm sorry to hear that you're having issues connecting to discord through your Xbox. For us to further isolate your issue, kindly share the exact error message that you received.

    If you're connected to a Discord voice channel on your Xbox console, your party chat status will say “Discord” and the name of the voice channel that you're in. If you want to join or start an Xbox party chat, disconnect from the Discord voice channel so that you can switch over to game or party chat.

    No more voice chat against more then 8 people

    The issue could have something to do with being in the insider program (having an active pre-release build on your device either Xbox or PC).

    The reason I mention using discord or some other voice chat is to avoid this issue, I realize that discord isn't on Xbox.

    Note If you experience issues being heard or hearing others, go back to the Discord voice channel you joined in Parties & chats, select Options, and then set Noise suppression to On.

    When did this issue start to occur?
    Is this the first time you're trying to use Discord voice on Xbox console?
    Did you make sure that you transferred the voice correctly? Please note that switching between Discord voice channels on console is not supported. You'll need to retransfer audio from Discord again to switch to a new voice channel.

    Have you tried getting everyone into an Xbox Live party for voice chat?

    What about using another service all together for voice chat, such as discord?
