    Having issues opting out of the preview program.


    Hiya! I have a super picky internet connection and just realized my console is in the preview program. I tried opting out, but it's saying I need to use the same account I signed up with. I only have one account and I don't remember signing up for it in
    the first place.

    Any tips on how to get out?

    I would like to get out of the preview program but do not know how to.

    I've tried reading through some of the forums but all I mainly see is how to opt in.

    Check to see what profile you have as the home Xbox it might night even be on your profile. You have to be selected to be a part of the program and you have to verify your account. When you do opt out the correct way. It will take until the next scheduled
    update to remove the program from the account.

    Are you and your console on Preview Program? Have you switched ring? or opt-out from the Preview program?

    Because I'm in Preview Program and one time I had the same issue.

    Another user, my old friend, same issue when opt-out from the preview program and console downgrade the firmware to a stable release from the beta.

    Are you currently in the Insider/Preview program, or have recently opted out of it?

    If so, the Xbox is subject to factory resetting itself to new preview updates (if you're still in the program), or the latest public OS release (if you've opted out).
