Having issues joining a multiplayer minecraft world

I can't join a friend's Minecraft bedrock world, despite it showing up in the joinable friends tab. I show up in the world but only on the host's end but I can't do anything and on my end, it still says "locating server." This issue only occurs with one specific world, but it's also one we've been working on for a few months. We've tried making a copy of the world and playing on that, but it still doesn't work. We've also tried everything it's said to online. Does anyone have a fix for this issue? Please let me know if any more information is needed.

Try this:

Call your internet service provider, and ask them to open the ports described below on your router.

Port 88 (UDP)
Port 3074 (UDP and TCP)
Port 53 (UDP and TCP)
Port 80 (TCP)
Port 500 (UDP)
Port 3544 (UDP)
Port 4500 (UDP)

Also ask to disable and then, enable it again the UPnP function and if you have a modem and a router the process has to be done on both devices.

Besides, ask them to put their PC's IP in the DMZ zone configuration.

No errors, it just times out after a few minutes and says Disconnected
