    Having difficulty with connecting to online game servers


    I've tried everything i could think of involving the router and modem, also completely resetting the Xbox. I have tried to do my own research of finding ways and understanding whats going on.

    The biggest roadblock I've come across is the packet loss situation and done all the things possible to fix it, no successful solutions. Connection to internet and Xbox live are fine, but playing any online game is a disaster and fails. It hasn't always
    been this way, could play online games just fine and for a while now they just wont connect to the server, please help!

    Try this:

    Go to your Xbox One's Network Settings and choose "Go offline". After your console has disconnected from the internet, reset it and test your connection. This is essentially just resetting your console's connection to
    your router or modem and giving it a new internal IP address.

    In some instances, it does work.

    I think demand on servers is so high just now you would experience connection difficulties with lots of massive online games. I think patience is the only way with these problems just now.
