Having an issue within your app on Xbox one

Your Xbox One console should be removed from the Preview Program within the next 24 hours. Do note that this will factory reset your Xbox One but it will not remove your games and apps.

Minecraft has been experiencing outages for Windows 10 and xbox one. Microsoft is trying to resolve these issues within the next 48 hours. You may have to change your privacy settings on the xbox companion app or on xbox.com

What kind of device are you using for the Xbox app (Windows 10, iOS, Android, Windows Phone)? Is your Xbox One showing up in the Xbox app to connect to, or is your Xbox One console not showing up within the Xbox app at all? We'll need that information so
we can provide specific steps.

If you're on Windows 10 PC, have you tried a wired connection for both your Windows 10 PC and your Xbox One console? That is the most reliable method for connecting the Xbox app to your Xbox One console, and the results of that will help us narrow the issue
down further.

Sorry to hear that you are having issues downloading a new game. Please know that you installing recently released games within Xbox App on PC is one of the known issues for today.

Xbox App (PC)

• Players experiencing issues updating games within the Xbox App on PC
  
  • Some recently released games on the Xbox App for PC are not reflecting the correct update. If you encounter an issue updating a game within the Xbox app or indicates that an update is required, but the Xbox app does not show one available, use the Windows 10 Store to download and install the update.
    
  • To Update your game Via the Windows Store, click on this link for guidance. Get updates for apps and games in Microsoft Store
    
  • After your games finish updating, launch the Xbox App on PC, and your game should now launch normally from within the Xbox App

Hey Dom!

To clarify, that is an option for party chat within the Xbox App. What I was referring to was testing the headset on your Xbox One console to see if you get any chat issues directly from there, just to narrow down whether this is a network or hardware issue.
Using your headset directly connected to your PC rather than connected to your controller is a bit a different. Apologies for the confusion on that!

For this particular issue you'll want to leave feedback from within the app detailing the exact issue you're using. Once you leave party in the app you can rate your experience and provide your reasoning. Be sure to provide information on the headset you're
using along with what's going on.
