Having an issue every time I’m updating/downloading games my xbox disconnects from the internet

Same issue here. Every time I load a Xbox 360 download game on my Xbox one it disconnects me from live..... Anybody have a solution?

Hi Ben4724 I have the same issue and tried selecting it from owned games and then it queues but the download never starts. It tells me to check my internet connection which is totally fine. The installation queue eventually times out and shows installation stopped. I even downloaded another game update to disprove the internet theory. I’m kinda stumped.

I would try disconnecting your xbox from the internet and try installing the game first. My nephews had this issue when installing a game and that seemed to work. From what I gathered, the game would try and install the updates at the same time the game
was installing. I hope this trick works for you. Connect the game after it is installed and download the updates then.

This sometimes happens when you are trying to install a game and the update. Try disconnecting your console from the internet and letting it install the game, then hook it back up to the internet and let it download the update for the game. I have had this
same issues with a couple of my games as well and this worked for me.

What's happening is your xbox one is trying to download the update and install the disc at the same time. If you have a slow internet connection this may be the cause. What i did to fix the issue was disconnect from xbox live, put the disc in and let it
install. Once complete connect to Live and download the update.
