Having a connection issue

Having a weird night with my Xbox 360.

A few hours ago, it restarted on it's own while I was on the dasboard, but then was working fine.

Now, I left the room for a minute and came back to find it shut down completely.

So I turned it back on, and it actually didn't start up on the first attempt, but the second try started up the console.

Now the issue. It wont connect to the internet.

My profile will sign in fine, but wont connect to live.

It gives me the error code:

80151901

.

I've looked up the code, and the website says that my profile may be corrupt, but it still signs in (non live) and shows as intact in my memory storage.

Also, when I do a test connection, the console will not even connect to the router.

I even attempted to redownload the profile, but since it wont connect to the internet, that doesn't work.

This is not something I've had happen to me in the time I've had my console. Any suggestions? Or is it just offline gaming for now?

Having an Unknown Connection Issue

I do not know what to call this or even how to begin so I will start from the beginning.

When I log into my Account for my Xbox One it takes way longer then necessary to connect. A lot of times it automatically logs me out right after I log in.

Then, I have issues connecting to online games. At first it was 7 Days to Die that kept crashing but people told me it was the game servers and they get the issue all the time. But I can not keep a connection for Minecraft either! Even with Netflix, I turn
on a show and it MIGHT work for a few minutes but then it starts to buffer and then says I need to check my connection.

Its not just Netflix, Microsoft Movies and Tv app does the same thing!

I know it is not my internet connection because my computer connects to things just fine! Netflix runs smooth on my desktop which uses a wireless connection to the internet same as my Xbox.

I have tried a 'Hard Reset' where I unplug the Xbox, wait a few minutes, then plug it back in.. but that doesnt work either!

Anyone have any idea of what to do or what is going on?

Being disconnected.

Have you tried using a wired connection on this Xbox? If not, please try using a wired connection and see if you are still having the same issue since I see that you are having this issue with the wireless connection on the Xbox 360 S.

Also, when trying to trouble shoot, I cleared the cache as the info on the code suggested, so now I can't play most of my games as the patch updates are all wiped out, and none of my save files are valid with a resolution to the problem.

OK, as weird as all that was, I seem to be working now.

After a failed test connection again, it gave me a message about an IP address issue, so I went into network settings and just clicked automatic, although it already was set at that, and it seems to have jump started the connection and I'm back up, although
with a limited connection issue warning, but I've had that before with no issues.

I'd be happy to help!

Before trying a factory reset I suggest trying a complete
power cycle.

Turn off the Xbox One console by pressing the Xbox button on the front of the console for about 10 seconds until it shuts down completely.
Unplug the console's power cable. Wait 5 mins.
Plug the console power cable back in.
Press the Xbox button on your console to turn on the Xbox One.

Also I recommend to unplug your modem as well as your router for 5 mins as well. Reboot everything together.

Try that out and let us know the results!

Go straight into your modem to see if it helps then as suggested unplug the router and while you wait clear your cache then start over. Be patient be smart be happy. Hey already your not dying from cancer or a red sux fan right now.
