Having a community hub without a game so people can chat freely

I am one person with one idear I like to meet many people who play Xbox I would love to have a community area on Xbox servers whew people can chat to chat next games but to chat it will be nice and get more people involved.with what
people like and what to like like a form but a chat service for talking about stuff that wout be so.cool.and get people involved in descusson and more I hope u really take this in consideration I am.one person but I believe this will benefit Xbox and Microsoft

That is why I like this sub forum. A lot of game title specific forums can be quite intimidating to some people with them already having a community inside them and some can be quite hostile. This one however is a nice welcoming community who will do their
best to help one and other and have a general chat about games without being too crazy. Long live General Game Discussion.

 

Why do I have to keep putting the disc in after a game is installed?

Without requiring the disc, people would be able to install the disc and pass it around freely for others to install; they could then play without actually having the disc and one purchase would be needed for several people to play.

The original vision for the Xbox One involved a code or key being assigned to a disc and when installed to a console (with the code/key/verification of some kind) the disc would no longer be necessary to play the game. You couldn't share your discs in this
case. Microsoft decided to scrap this given community/internet feedback.

There's no way to straight-swap a disc based game for a downloadable version.
