    Have problems my permissions


    For when I ever I try and play multiplayer, like Halo, Rainbow six siege, I mediately get a message saying that because of the way my account is set up I can't play Halo online and can't play Rainbow Six Siege which is sad because I have game pass unlimited, what do I do about this???

    My name is AJ, I'm an Independent Advisor for the Xbox Community.

    I'm sorry to hear you are experiencing issues playing online.

    To enable multiplayer features, you'll have to log in to your Microsoft account at ( https://account.microsoft.com/privacy ), scroll down to "Xbox", and select "Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and Windows 10 devices Online Safety".

    From there, you'll have to enable the following settings:

    • You can play with people outside of Xbox

    • You can create and join clubs

    • You can join multiplayer games

    * You can add friends (optional)

    I'd also suggest reviewing the following settings under the "Privacy" tab:

    • You can see and upload community creations

    • You can communicate outside of Xbox Live with voice & text

    • Others can communicate with voice, text, or invites

    Note: If you have a child account, you'll have to ask your Family Organizer to enable these settings for you, this can be done through the link above or through the Xbox Family app:

    Is this a problem with permissions inside the game or with parental permissions on the Xbox?
