Have pc and xbox one need help playing multiplayer, same account, same game, same time

Hello. I bought one copy of sea of thieves recently for my pc. Since I have an xbox one as well. The game works on both because of a sharred account. My problem is I want to play the game simultaneously on my pc and xbox one. Unfortunately it kickes me
out of one when I try to play on the other saying im playing the game on another device. I understand that part. How am I able to play both at the same time? I was hoping I wouldnt have to spend $50 on a second xbox live account then another $60 on the
game. Seems like there would be a better way to do it.

Will we be able to play together?

Hi! My family and I enjoy the Gold subscription because we can all play each of the games, and compare scores, etc. We each have our own accounts on the Xbox.

But we're thinking of getting an extra Xbox so we can play the multiplayer games at the same time, with all of us logged in to our own account.

With my wife logged into her own account on her own Xbox, and me logged into the same game in my account on my Xbox, that would be so much fun! Will we be able to do that?

 

Using same WLID on XBox and PC at the same time

What you could do would be to create a new gamertag to play AOE online since you don't need a gold account for Games For Windows Live. Then you could be playing your game and she could be using the other account to watch movies through Netflix.

 

You would need a 2nd account on the console. The account that owns the game would set the console as the Home console which will share the game and your gold so you don't have to purchase anything else. My Home Xbox Setting on Xbox One | Share Your Xbox One
