    After purchasing Halo Wars 2 on 12/4/2016, and waiting 4 days after the 20th of December I saw a post made by one of the 343 team on the Halo Waypoint forums.

    ON that post he points out "Secondly, if you did pre-order the digital HW2:Ultimate Edition before 12/20 and haven't received a HWHave not received Halo Wars: DE code. :DE code then you're asked to try one of the following for the quickest resolution:

    * Engage with the Xbox community team via Results in Xbox - Microsoft Community or @XboxSupport on Twitter. We're told that they can check your status and issue a code if applicable."

    So after purchasing and waiting an ample amount of time I would like to know what is up. Cause in his post he clearly states those who have ordered it should have it, and it not then "If you haven't gotten it then something is probably wrong."

    When did you redeem the code provided by Amazon? Once you redeem the code for Halo Wars 2, you should receive a code for Halo Wars DE within 7-10 days.

    Halo Wars DE code not received for Windows 10

    Hey there,

    Codes for Halo Wars: Definitive Edition are no longer sent out for purchases of Halo Wars 2: Ultimate Edition. Now, anyone that purchases Halo Wars 2: Ultimate Edition digitally will automatically receive the game digitally. Try checking your Windows Store
    library (or your 'Ready to install' list on Xbox One) to see if the game shows up there! Be sure that you are signed into the account that originally redeemed the code, as well.

    To find your library on the Windows Store, click your profile picture in the upper left corner of the screen within the Windows Store. Keep us posted!
    I can see Halo Wars DE in my Windows Store library, however trying to install it gives an error once it tries to acquire a license (error code is 0x803F8001). I have already had a lengthy chat session with support over that error, and they said the error
    was due to my not having a license for Halo Wars DE, and that I had to come here to get the code for Halo Wars DE sent to me.
