When did you pre-order the game? The promotional codes are sent 7-10 days after the date you purchased the game. For example, if you pre-ordered a game on August 15, 2016, your code would be expected to arrive sometime between August 22-25.

Where did you receive this EA Access code? If you intended to purchase a year of EA Access, but received a 1 Month code instead, you will want to reach out to the retailer your acquired the code from.
