    Recently I saw an advertisement to go gold and receive the game Ryse: legendary edition. I decided to give xbox live a try again. multiple weeks later I still have not received the code that was advertised for getting xbox live.

    Have you been able to confirm that the transaction for Xbox Live Gold went through? You can check your payment history over on
    commerce.microsoft.com. Let us know what you find out over there Have not received code for Ryse: legendary Edition :)

    I brought gold membership through the banner on the front page of the x-box homepage on 20/12/15 and I have still not received my code. I didn't use a pre-paid code so I don't know what it was an issue.

    -The offer specially stated that your code would be received in 28 days which hasn't happened and is shoddy at best.

    I really don't know why I can't sort this through your web chat and have to post on a public message board about this?

  5. Hopefully you don't mind me piggybacking off this thread but I also didn't receive my code for Ryse: Legendary Edition. I purchased my Xbox Live Gold membership off the dashboard on 9/22/2015.

    I also talked to someone over Xbox chat support today and he hold me to post in the forums. He already put in a ticket for me with this ID number:

    I've just spent 30 minutes trying to reach someone at Microsoft. The Customer Services experience was lousy. All they could do was to direct me to this forum. I could have bought Ryse on PC through Steam for £5 and saved myself the soul-destroying experience
    of trying to sort this through customer services. IS ANYONE LISTENING???

    Just to clarify, did you purchase your Xbox Live membership directly through the promotion on the home page of your console or did you redeem a pre-paid code? If you redeemed a pre-paid code, you will not qualify for this offer. Thanks!

    Yes. I did indeed purchase my Live Gold directly through the promotion.

    It wad the main reason I purchased the 1-year Gold sub at that particular time.

    When purchasing your Xbox Live membership did you redeem a pre-paid code or did you use the payment method that is attached to your account? You can check if your membership was set up through a payment method or a pre-paid membership by going to

    account.live.com
    and checking under the Service and Subscriptions tab. Thanks!
